I am scientist, a deep thinker, an artist with living tissue…I am a veterinarian! Thank you for stopping by and welcome to my site. I have been a small animal veterinarian in Kingston, Ontario since the spring of 2010. I graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2006 and also completed an intense internship in emergency and general medicine at the Hollywood Animal Hospital in Florida. Originally, I am from south Florida but my wife convinced me to move north of the border to her native homeland of Canada. My wife (also a small animal veterinarian) and I have made Kingston our permanent home. Our family consists of two dogs, 3 cats, and two horses.
I believe in the human animal bond and do the best that I can to try and make it a lasting and positive experience for you and your pets. My ultimate dream and goal is to make veterinary medicine informative, non-intimidating, and accessible for everyone. Check back often for stories of my days in practice, timely & informative pet health info, and even a look into my non-veterinary life.

I am currently practicing at the Kingston Veterinary Clinic. I see many of the dogs from Sheba’s Haven along with Dr. Lawless. All of their residents are just so nice and well loved too!

I would just like to thank you for meeting with my cat Dusty a week ago. She wasn’t feeling well and didn’t have her usual level of energy and socialness. Her leg is much better and she’d back to her usual self!
